What Is MicroFireX & Core Functionality

MicroFireX Delivers 24/7 Autonomous Protection in an Ultra-Compact Design

Ultra-Compact & Autonomous

66 × 27 × 20 mm

Zero Electricity Needed

Activates automatically at 170°C. Operates 24/7 without external wiring, battery power, or manual intervention. Simple installation with adhesive backing.

Rapid & Electronics-Safe

1–2 Seconds

Covers up to 0.3 m³ Volume

Suppresses fire as soon as the temperature reaches 170°C, using chemical chain interruption. Its by-products are non-conductive and non-corrosive, protecting sensitive boards.

High-Risk Applications

Targeted Defense

Enclosed-Space Protection

Engineered specifically for electrical panels, server cabinets, engine bays, marine vessels, solar/UPS batteries, and EV charging units.

Technological Differentiation

Reinforced 3rd-Gen S-Type Aerosol + FK5-1-12

Technical Dimension Conventional Aerosols (Legacy K-Type) MicroFireX (3rd-Gen S-Type + FK5-1-12)
Primary Oxidizer Potassium nitrate (K-Type) base Strontium nitrate [Sr(NO₃)₂] (3rd-Gen S-Type)
Reinforcement Agent None (standard pyrotechnic compound) Enhanced with FK5-1-12 liquid clean agent
Suppression Mechanism Basic chemical radical binding only Dual action: molecular radical binding + endothermic physical cooling via FK5-1-12 vaporization
Electronics Safety & Residue Leaves conductive & corrosive residue; risks damaging sensitive circuit boards Non-conductive, non-corrosive by-products with low water solubility; electronics-safe

How It Works

Three Layers of Suppression

  1. Chemical Interruption

Nano-sized strontium and potassium particles released into the air bind, at a molecular level, to the free radicals (H•, OH•, O•) that sustain combustion — chemically breaking the fire's chain reaction.

  2. Physical Cooling

An endothermic (heat-absorbing) reaction rapidly draws heat from the flame, cooling the surrounding area.

  3. FK5-1-12 Reinforcement

As it vaporizes, FK5-1-12 draws heat from the flame and suppresses the combustion reaction, adding an electronics-safe, residue-free layer of suppression.

Lithium-Ion Battery Protection

Ultra-Fast 1-Second Jet Discharge Suppresses Thermal Runaway Fires in Lithium Batteries

  1. 17 kWh Battery Protection

Engineered for enclosed Li-ion battery packs up to 17 kWh capacity. In laboratory testing, the compact 40 g dual-module design stopped thermal escalation at the single-cell stage.

  2. 1-Second Jet Discharge

Reaches jet-speed discharge within 1 second of thermal trigger — stopping fire before it spreads to adjacent cells or escalates into flashover.

  3. Molecular Action (No O₂ Starvation)

Nano-sized strontium and potassium particles instantly bind combustion free radicals at the molecular level, suppressing fire without needing oxygen depletion.

  4. Non-Corrosive Board Protection

Leaves non-corrosive, non-conductive residue. Intact battery cells, BMS circuit boards, and wiring remain protected and operational.

Marketplace Alternatives Comparison

Official EU Certification Distinguishes MicroFireX from Marketplace Alternatives

Evaluation Criteria Generic Online Marketplace Products MicroFireX System
EU Safety Directives Often lack official compliance or rely on unverified self-declarations Compliant with EU Directive 2013/29/EU for pyrotechnic safety
Notified Body Registration No verifiable EU Registration Number or Notified Body audit trail Officially registered: EU Reg. No. 2806-P1-011688 with CE 2806 mark
Certification Scope Unverified or missing independent lab testing reports Module B & Type Approval certificates issued by EU Notified Bodies
Chemical Formulation & Safety May use legacy K-Type aerosols that leave corrosive, board-damaging residue 3rd-Gen S-Type aerosol + FK5-1-12; non-corrosive, non-conductive, electronics-safe
